On The Line, a book-in-progress by Professor Jack Dougherty and contributors at Trinity College, makes visible the hidden history of schooling and housing boundaries that divided metropolitan Hartford, Connecticut. This talk tells the stories of civil rights activists and everyday families who seek to sought to cross over, redraw, or erase these lines, with a special emphasis on Bloomfield, CT.
