Event Details

Self-awareness is the ability to see, understand and accept our thoughts, emotions, beliefs, habits and behavior without judgment. When we cultivate self-awareness we are able to consciously choose to make changes, remain unchanged with full awareness of the consequences or find acceptance and peace of mind if change is not possible. Self-awareness is not a static state. We don’t get it and keep it. It ebbs and flows, shifts and changes but we can call on it to help us be present; to see and sense where we are in any given moment and make productive choices to enhance our well-being. Cultivating self-awareness is a lifelong journey that can be started at any age.

This workshop will present a view of self-awareness that expands the contemporary mind/body model and will introduce you to your five layers of self-awareness (body, breath/energy, mind, witness and bliss/joy) through discussion and interactive exercises.
