At this Zen Teen special event, we will enjoy a healthy lunch together, while learning about mindful eating. We will use this learning experience to kick off our journaling for 2024 initiative. Each participant will go home with a journal and some writing prompts for the new year. More hands-on activities will be included to celebrate the school break.
Please register by December 27 so we can buy food ingredients.
At monthly Zen Teen programs, we will explore screen-free, hands-on learning activities together. We will discuss mindful moments and self-care awareness we can implement in our busy lives. Attend the sessions that interest you. Open to students in grades 7-12, limited space available. If special accommodations are required, please contact the library at least one week prior to the event (for lunch dietary accommodations - email Sara Ray upon registering or within one week of the program).
