Event Details

For Women’s History Month, we’re highlighting women singers, audio engineers, jazz musicians, promoters, and electronic music pioneers who broke barriers, paving the way for those who followed in their footsteps. Whether commanding the stage as front person or engineering behind the scenes, each of these women had to deal with various forms of discrimination while impacting the music industry in big ways. Some names you may have never heard of before. If you have heard of them, you may not know the full story. Welcome back music educator and multi-instrumentalist Jaeme McDonald as we continue the journey through music history, highlighting these music innovators.
