Solar Eclipse (peak is 3:27pm)

Join Staff from Bloomfield Public Library in viewing the total solar eclipse on April 8th! We'll meet over at the soccer fields near the Bloomfield Human Services building (330 Park Ave). There will be some simple activities and refreshments provided for attendees.

The eclipse is reported to start around 2:11 PM, with a peak in the Hartford area around 3:27 PM, ending around 4:38 PM. Our staff will be able to provide eclipse-viewing glasses on a first-come, first-served basis. We will begin distributing glasses at 2:30 PM on the soccer fields. [NOTE: No eclipse glasses will be given out in advance of the program.]

No registration required. All ages welcome!
